Charity and wills

Sadaqah Jaariyah refers to continuous charity that provides ongoing rewards even after death. It can be achieved through leaving good children who make dua, teaching beneficial knowledge, or creating enduring benefits like wells, masjids, or waqfs (endowments). Waqfs, in particular, offer long-term impact by generating sustainable returns for community benefits. Reviving the concept of waqfs can strengthen Muslim communities by providing lasting social and religious infrastructure. Including Sadaqah Jaariyah in an Islamic Will allows individuals to leave an enduring legacy by directing part of their estate toward charitable and community projects.
